Masroof zamana Mere liye kyun Waqt Apna Barbad Karey

So why this busy world waste a single moment for me ?

Aakhir kya hai woh jo kachot-ta hai kabhi kabhi mere man ko ye paane ke liye....Ki, kisi ke paas ho waqt sirf mere liye....kya kabhi aisa ho payega....

well anyhow....after this thought...I think do I have time for somebody....i thought for a sec ...and answer is YES...I always had tiume for almost everybody....

It's something that ppl are invovled in themselves that they try to overlook my presence and believe that they can do without me ...to some extent yes they can do without me...but then they loose upon sth ...and this is where my USP lies....

So Dear Zamana ....Though you can as Masroof as you ever want to be....but there is sth which I had always promised for being with me and around me....Its the sense of togetherness and then the joy and happiness that flows in continuam with it....

so be there...more to explain... :) I feel you ppl can complete it with more effect.

Singh Jr

A lot of this has been forwarded to me and by me ...Finally I thought of posting the same :)

The teacher asked,"Singh Jr. what is your problem?"

Singh Jr. answered, "I'm too smart for the first-grade.My sister is in
the third-grade and I'm smarter than she is! I think I should be in the
third-grade too!"

Ms Neelam had enough. She took Singh Jr. to the principal's office.
While Singh Jr. waited in the outer office, the teacher explained to the
principal what the situation was.

The principal told Ms Neelam he would give the boy a test and if he failed
to answer any of his questions he was to go back to the first-grade and
behave.

She agreed.

Singh Jr. was brought in and the conditions were explained to him and he
agreed to take the test.

Principal: "What is 3 x 3?"

Singh Jr.: "9".

Principal: "What is 6 x 6?"

Singh Jr.: "36".

And so it went with every question the principal thought a third-grade
should know. The principal looks at Ms Neelam and tells her, "I think Singh
Jr. can go to the third-grade."

If you don't feel embarrassed please read further...

Ms Neelam says to the principal, "I have some of my own questions.
Can I ask him ?" The principal and Singh Jr. both agree.

Ms Neelam asks, "What does a cow have four of that I have only two of?

Singh Jr., after a moment "Legs."

Ms Neelam: "What is in your pants that you have but I do not have?"

Singh Jr.: "Pockets."

Ms Neelam: "What does a dog do that a man steps into?"

Singh Jr.: "Pants"

Ms Neelam: What starts with a C and ends with a T, is hairy,
oval, delicious and contains thin whitish liquid?

Singh Jr.: Coconut

Ms Neelam: What goes in hard and pink then comes out soft And

sticky? The principal's eyes open really wide and before he could

stop the answer, Singh Jr. was taking charge.

Singh Jr.: Bubblegum

Ms Neelam: What does a man do standing up, a woman does sitting
down and a dog does on three legs? The principal's eyes open
really wide and before he could stop the answer...

Singh Jr.: Shake hands

Ms Neelam: Now I will ask some "Who am I" sort of questions, okay?
Singh Jr.: Yep.

Ms Neelam: You stick your poles inside me. You tie me down to get me
up. I get wet before you do.

Singh Jr.: Tent

Ms Neelam: A finger goes in me. You fiddle with me when you're
bored. The best man always has me first. The Principal was
looking restless, a bit tense and took one large Patiala Vodka peg.

Singh Jr.: Wedding Ring

Ms Neelam: I come in many sizes. When I'm not well, I drip. When you
blow me, you feel good.

Singh Jr.: Nose

Ms Neelam: I have a stiff shaft. My tip penetrates. I come with a
quiver.

Singh Jr.: Arrow

Ms Neelam: What word starts with a 'F' and ends in 'K' that means lot
of heat and excitement?

Singh Jr.: Firetruck

Ms Neelam: What word starts with a 'F' and ends in 'K' & if u dont get
it u have to use urhand.

Singh Jr.: Fork

Ms Neelam: What is a four-letter word that ends in k and means the
same as intercourse?

Singh Jr.: TALK

Ms Neelam: What is it that all men have one of it's longer on some men
than on others, the pope doesn't use his and a man gives it to his wife
after they're married?

Singh Jr.: SURNAME

Ms Neelam: What part of the man has no bone but has muscles, has lots
of veins, like pumping, & is responsible for making love ?

Singh Jr.: HEART.

The principal breathed a sigh of relief and said to the teacher,
"Send Singh Jr. to DelhiUniversity, I got the last ten questions wrong
myself!"

Attending a Friend's wedding or the funeral of your friendship

Title itself is bit ghosty, it's best friend's wedding or the funeral of the friendship. Well, folks to be honest, the wedding might bring in all the joy and happiness or "and then they lived happily ever after" feel in thy friend's life, but then you should also mark that day as the day of loss of frankness and spontinity involved in thy own relationship.

How & Why ?

Well here it is for your reading pleasure...

All of a sudden, all shall change,

  • to whom you can look upon even in the middle of the night - thy shall think twice to even forward that funny sms even at noon.
  • with whom you kept on chatting on yahoo - shall login with his wife's account and thy can't even jigjag about anybody.
  • in whose house, thy simply use to walkin and use to open the fridge - shall ring the bell, shall get seated, and then sheepishly ask for a glass of water.
  • who was available right there, to enter into any movie hall at any point of time - now suddenly has to think of ways keeping his wife busy over the weekend.
  • with whom you never have given a second thought in saying anything blue under the sun - shall look here and there, and half the time you won't inittiate that kinda talk even if spouse is not present.
  • who shall travel across thousands of km jus to have a peg of whisky and to have few cigs with you - shall now calculate the travel costs and shall be too mature to involve in felony like of the kind.
  • who has no difference in having a Chapo (chai Pakoda) at any dhaba at any point of time or having 7 course dinner at "The Taj" - shall now won't be able to join you coz he had a emergency call or prove you that it's too cheeky.
  • the talks which use to begin with your own formulated lingo - shall now be sugar dipped and shall include the phrases like,"hmmmm...what else...?"
  • who were delighted to receive N number of Pondy pics and mails from you or shall send you - shall now be too religious and you might even get a formal mail to stop sending junk mails to the id coz its monitored.
  • the one who use to babble with cash in his wallet to be spent in treats or spending an evening - shall now be telling you about economics involved in the wonders of marriage.
All of a sudden, the immense change in the way guy receives you at his premises, or greets you when he meets you accross the road, amuses you, if He is the same guy.

Anyhow whatever happens and whichever way it turns, attend and enjoy thy friend's wedding, coz those are the moments thy shall remember forever.

May be some day I shall also understand the fact that "The friend is not only your friend anymore...he is now a hubby to lady, a would be father...there are lot many respos and despo stuff happening round him"

So folks attend the wedding and forget thy friendship.. Here is TODO list

  • Give your friend a chance and time for his married life.
  • Keep your damn nose out of there privacy.
  • Donot interfare or keep on giving suggesstions untill your friend make you believe that he needs one.
  • Do not interfare in your Friend's wife's Kitchen.
  • Do not suggest the color of the drapes.
  • Do not roam around with them in Market.
  • Do not plan a trip with a couple when the trip do not have any bachelor company.
  • Do not fall for a weekend movie plan with the couple.
  • Do not talk about past life or office life of your friend in front of his spouse.
  • Do not try to impose that ice-cream after coffee and other vague combination.

The only gud thing is sit in solitude, watch movies and keep blogging... :) and enjoy being bachelor....

This is the way, this is ..

Its been more then 30 hours since I have slept, signs of fatigue are dancing with glamour over my face, but I ama still standing, I am standing just to hold on a little more to break this vicious cycle. I am standing jus to break this monotony of waking up late and never watching the sunrise, coz I have slept late.

I am now shedding of that lazyness, I am shedding of all the tensions about future tense, coz Past is particle ( :) ) and its the present which is supposed to be Present Perfect and then only the future which shall be present someday shall be perfect again.

(I donnot how many got this presnt past and future stuff...Read it again and thy shall spin right through it.)

This is the first step of winning towards myself back. I was loosing too much time in sleeping and then not getting the things done my way, or giving any chance to my instincts to suck up any pleasures on the way. I know tonight I shall sleep like a baby, without any though about being awake.

Even after around 30 hours, its only the eyes which are paining, the muscles around them are the ones which are aching, the eyelids wanna close themselves forever as if they are the only ones who are fatigued.

The joys and sorrow both were redefined yesternight. Joy in still being able to find that people still exist who call up to consult, whom I can call to revive enthusiasm and confidence. Sorrow for being at receiving end when I find nobody who can gimme my insight to handle affairs.

Let's see where ME Belongs :)

and then I made my first 1000/-

It started few months back, when finally, I opened my demat and online trading account. Wow !! Thought of making money out of money was sending shiver down my spine.

Isn't it a wonderful idea that, you money shall be working round the clock to generate more of its kind, while thy shall be busy making new configs for thy testplan, while thy shall be chatting, blogging, sitting alone or with crowd, smiling or whining about the system.

Isn't it wonderful market will be tipsy topsy over the chunk of money u have flowed into, jus to keep up your belief and prove "Beginner's luck" is all you need in this Universe (The Alchemist said so :) ). Brokers, FIIs and a hell of other highly qualified crowd is going haywire jus to bring in the kinetics of the potential you have thrown in.

Here is something for your reading pleasure....all is illustrated as events happened and the thought process is seamed into the lingo :)

Soon the snail mails started pouring in from the bank about account opening, I was getting excited, soon I shall start trading, I shall be rich ...wow !!....then finally the login and pwd came...I got logged into the site and changed the password..hmmmm ...lemme think...this should be a new password...a tedious one this time...so that all is secure....lets think a little obsure one this...the one which I had never used....Well folks, I kept a real cumbersome passcode and it was so secure and difficult to guess that even I forgot it the next day...Grrr !!! What a shame it is....Grrrr !!!! I never ever use to forget passcodes and logins associated with them and there are innumerable different passcodes I use...different for different application, websites, mails, security levels, the emotional and monetary value at risk ....but this is ridiculous....How can this happen to me..end result...Account is locked...Phew....what a start .....

Anyhow I placed in a request to reset the passcode....and then next day....I was giving a try to Phonebanking stuff and the gal over there unlocked it for me without a hitch ...okay now I can try my few more....think a bit more...lets try this ...wow ... he he he...Hirdu never forgets his passwords and he even remember the passcode if somebody types it front of him twice...doesnot matter what's the tying speed.. :) I was logged in again....wow...lets start the investing...

okay now how its done....get money fromt he account...move it in equity and then phew...this is the limit...O lord look at the market it's soaring and ppl saying no...no...this is not the time to enter....hey....look at this sector...that sector....Oh God too much of trouble...this is not the way...I shall look at the market 2 days later....Grrr !!!...Hrrr !!! I should start reading economic times :)

Oh Lord....What a lousy news paper it is....First the color is yellow....which I donot like...pathetic...look at Times of India or Delhi times...Fundoo colors and babes all around....hrrrr....No hirdu this is not meant for you...anyhow....keep on reading another cup of coffeee...

What is this....I am not able to log in again...Grrr !! Account is diable ...why....I had money locked in Demat....grrr...This won't do....Oh No....now I got the clue...that day I asked to reset the Passcode...These ppl are too much ...when I got the account unlocked why the heck they disable it again .....Phew....!! hrrrr...

Anyhow finally after a month all is settled....Account finally gets enabled and I lost so many oppurtunites to chiesel Money out of Money...anyhow part of the game ...life is not so easy man :)

Investments need to be poured in...what profit i should target...8%, 10% or 50 %....no no...10 % is suffice for no greed....I shall prepare the gud portfolio and balance accross them :) thats the way...this is how I learn and earn....

Oh...God all seems sinking what is happening to this market...as soon as my money is in...its going to drain or what....

then after a week market is recovering...I know I know...yo Yo its my time...I shall reap in profits... :) Fundoo fun...

Oh God its touching the new skies....Hitting 9000 mark wow...I shall make money :) What to sell...okay this should be kept this shall move in my portfolio...this shall increase round march too mucha and tommorow when market shall correct itself I shall buy more :) ..okay for this hmmm it has huge volume...but some other factors...besides they rejected my Resume once...okay I shall sell them today,.....Grrr.... this shall be 2 hits with one arrow...I shall Sell this company's stock now....1...I shall sell it and have the feel of revenged....and I shall book in some profits too :)

and finally I quoted hightest price of the day...and then it's sold....wow booked in net 15% profit in a week's frame..Ppl have made more but then I am not much greedy and I am happy with this...so now I have taken out the yearly fees and rest is spent again in Treats and calling up friends to share the news....

that !! Hirdu has made his first thousand in the bulls run at BSE !!

Krishnakali, chaya mat choona mun, Prem Na baadi upjey

Three Hindi novels, Gyan Peeth award winners, all were wrapped in love, narated beautifully with colors of human emotions.

Finished these three in last three nights and ppl in office were amazed why am I senti all the time. I had nothing to tell them about. Each story created another vacuole near to my heart and led me to think again about my relationships and life.

Krishnakali (The black bud - Name of a Girl Child in Hindi) - Shivani wrote it and it was a instant hit in hindi literary circles. - was about a girl whose real mother and father were suffering from leprosy, a prostitute took care of her from childhood till she finishes college and after that she was on her own. Left home in search of true love, but then love has another fate for her....so on...dies in the last.

Prem na baadi Upjey (Love cannot be grown in Garden) - Ultimate classical presentation, The author has used similar style as I use sometimes in my senti stories. Collected all the senti stuff from the global happenings in the field of love, care and passion, combined them together in the life of few charaters and then illustrated the whole story, as being narated in streams of time.

Chaya Mat Choona Mun - (Don not let the soul touch the Shadow) - Again a love story, surrounded by the troubles in life of a young girl who suffers through out her life & dies coz of Cancer in the lap of her beloved in last few pages. The author has illustrated the initial story well but then he has winded up the story very fast in the last few pages...He could have used more Seti stuff and holded the story a little longer...

anyhow...tonight is booked with "The last Song of dusk" finally...There are so many "Archie comics to be finished, and some Asterix are also there.

Let's see what's there in the week end for me ....

Tomorrow its "Harry Potter" time and another hindi flick :)

So folks celebrate this weekend like never before...This is "Thanx Giving Weekend"

Style Next

Long time back read a poem. Yesternight while roaming around the beach during a half hour interval granted by Continuous rains in chennai around midnight, I tried to copy the style :)

Shall post a translation and since it seems incomplete to me, I shall try to complete it. Enjoy !!

What's cooking ?

So folks this is my make shift kitchen. The proper kitchen in left to it. That day the switch board in the kitchen was not working properly...

The Indian cooking is always colourful, Red tomatoes, Purple Onions, White/creamy potatoes and colorful spices and then there is some giner also, cutting board and Induction Plate completes the picture.

I was cooking Bari-aloo that day. One of the Escape dish in North Indian Kitchen, if you cannot make up your mind on what to cook,

This is my humble collection of utensils :)

Most of it is unused yet. I am making all efforts to do a reasonable use of all this is stuff.

Well there are 6 Full Thalis, 6 half plates, 6 small bowl, 4 serving bowls, 2 Futura Vessels, 1 Hawkins Ventura and several other stuff to make cooking easier.

Actually, I am making efforts for a house warming party to happen coming weekend. Let's see what happens and how ?

Steps in Parantha Preperation :)

Took too much time yesterday to attain the perfect round shape and have a brilliant stuff :)

The final ...ready to serve hot with Tea and Achaar. :)

Paradise Lost :: Hugs & Kisses

So what and where is this Paradise, which has been lost now ? What it is composed of ? and how are Hugs and kisses related to it....

Well folks, this Paradise is of Friendship, Frankness is the molecule that identifies it, Trust & reliability is the sole foundation of it.

From past few months, I was observing that the "Frankness" - the very molecule is eroding, and now its been eroded to the point that I feel sad to say "Paradise Lost".

First I thought let it be like this, let this Paradise be lost and forgetten forever. But then there exist; the wrong way, the right way and the Hirdu's way of doing things and approaching life and in Hirdu's way, "We Never Lose !", so here I am making efforts again to bring in back the lost frankness, to bring trust back to where it belongs to, where its treasured as most precious and priceless asset - "Our Hearts".

This is where "Hugs and Kisses" comes to picture. Tommorow, People shall be celebrating "Thanks giving day" and We shall start our "Jhappi & Pappi affair" - i.e the "Hugs and kisses" Phenomenon.

So folks, spend few moments, analyse, and verify among yourself, if it's the "Frankness and Trust" which is missing in your Friend Circle, if it's not from your side, and might be from your buddy's side. Take it easy, pal. Go ahead, Hug or kiss him/her (Whatever is feasible !! :) )

If they are far, shoot accross a Mail, a phone call, a sms, an e-card, or write a letter today. This time the onus is on you. Just do it.

There is nothing worse then loosing a buddy, just coz of loss of frankness and lazyness in approaching him.

The loss might not affect right now, but some day it shall and that day you might not have anywhere to return back. So folks before it goes out anybodies control, hold onto it and hold it very tightly.

!! Go Give or Send a Hug today !! Send in kisses and smoothen all the differences or misunderstandings. The loss might not be affecting you, but it might be affecting you buddy.

So for the pious and unparallel phenomenon of Friendship "Approach", move forward, shed your Ego, and come out.

Be confident on my confidence, "Thy shall never regret it"

I am writing this post coz after "List Unlisted", a friend called me up yesternight and we talked for around 2 hours to nail down the coz of unhappiness. We finally found out the reason and though yesternight I was of the opinion that I wont make any effort, but then as I already said, "This is not the Hirdu's way". "Hirdu's way" is to go out with open arms and make life happen.

and buddy this is for you. I know thy shall say, "Ye hui na Hirdu wali baat" to phir shuroo ho jayo...

Send in hugs and kisses... People are waiting..."Build in the lost trust again and repoen the channels of thy heart for frankness" and withing few moments thy shall start feeling that "Paradise is regained."

Lists Unlisted

So finally, I am free and not entangled....

2 mailing lists which lately become a burden to be in, are now dismantled and deleted. And since ppl shall pour in for the reasons they are deleted, and I donot wanna reply on mails ,so it is here on my blog...I am posting...

The deletion has not been done in haste...I had been thinking about it since I returned from Delhi trip this time....The last dinner before leaving to home casted the coffin for the lists.

There was huge stuff ppl wanted to share, but they were stopping themselves to deliever, Natural appearance were lost and there was too much plastic and ego in between.

These mailing lists were created with the thought of bringing the members near and keep them interlinked forever. During initial days, it use to be fun and ppl were enthutiastic...but slowly, as all things come to an end...this too started decaying...and all of a sudden somehow I started feeling rotten smell too...

As of today, almost all are too busy, too plastic to be entertained in a group mailing list. People are now mature enough to communicate directly to whom-so-ever they desire, and thus the mailing lists are now deleted.

I felt really sad when I deleted them...but lately there had been no use of those lists...

The list which touched more than 1000 mails a month, ppl refrained from mailing to them now.

"Logon ko kisi aur ki zubaan se Jindagi ka pata chalta tha" so folks now its no more...and now there is no boundation of being entangled...The FALSE feeling of being attached & connected is now deleted.

I believe this way we shall be more happy....

The last song of dusk - Siddharth Dhanvant Shanghvi

This book had been in my collection since the day it was published, lying unread.

So many times I desired to read it, but everytime I picked it up, something more interesting, or something with higher priority came up. Finally, at last I started yesterday.

and Lo & behold, as the first chapter itself, started unwinding itself, the beauty of the linguistic parameters brought me to the new world of colour and sensuality.

Author has successfully derived the passions involved with color, material and soul. He has taken utmost care to bring, and make the reader imagine the soothing pleasure of imagination.

I shall be continuing the book to finish it off this weekend and then shall be able to give you the full review.

Till then here are few beautiful lines quoted from it for your reading pleasure.

"Mrs Patwardhan's large, oval eyes, the hue of liquid soot, misted over and shut them with gracious restraint. At that moment, young Anuradha decided that her mother never looked lovelier: robed in a cobalt blue sari with gold-leaf border, she was a woman of altitude although not imposing, slim but with pertinent parts of biology eye catching endowed, and a certain gift of Song that was, to say the least, legend in Udaipur."
................
................
................
"Mrs Patwardhan was standing on the last step of the marble portico, erect as an obelisk but with the grace of a swan, the silken pallo of her sari drawn over her head: a sigh of sartorial grace."
................
................
................
"A Man is like a carpet: lay them once, and you can walk on them for the rest of your life."

Anyhow more shall come from this book later.

There is something I shall reveal in here. I had been observing it from a long time since I started reading and collecting book seriously.

All the books which I had bought and read, had been bought or read over sudden gesture made by my instincts. It always seemed that every book reading has always made some changes or revealed some hidden secrets in the design of my Universe.

What I am trying to say in here is that, though I read for my pleasure, there always had been some greater design involved behind that.

Let me see what's in there this time?

Kiss intezar mein sare shaam se jaam liye baitha,
Khuda to kab ka khud ki khudai ne nashe mein choor hoker chala gaya,

yun he nahin dee hai tere haath mein kismat teri,
maut ke khanzar se likhi hai khuda ne kismat teri,
tu he khada tha chaurahe per, jab sare bazaar lut rahi thi asmat teri,
kyun nahin tha tujhe intezar, jab aadhi raat ghar lauti asmat teri,

ab to maan ja apni haar, shayad tab he aaye tere zigar ko karaar,
zeete zee kon zeeta hai khuda se, log to mer ker bhi kerte hai bosa uska her baar.

It's Blogthings time !!

What Kind of Kisser Are You?

You're a Playful Kisser

Kissing is a huge game for you, a way to flirt and play
You're the first one to suggest playing spin the bottle at a party
Or you'll go for the wild kiss during a game of truth or dare
And you're up for kissing any sexy stranger if the mood is right!

Hidden talents

Your Hidden Talent

You have the natural talent of rocking the boat, thwarting the system.
And while this may not seem big, it can be.
It's people like you who serve as the catalysts to major cultural changes.
You're just a bit behind the scenes, so no one really notices.

What Does Your Birth Date Mean?

Your Birthdate: May 12

You're a dynamic, charismatic person who's possibly headed for fame.
You tend to charm strangers easily. And you usually can get what you want from them.
Verbally talented, you tend to persuade people with your speaking and writing.
You are affectionate and loving, but it's hard for you to commit to any one relationship.

Your strength: Your charm

Your weakness: Your extreme manipulation tactics

Your power color: Indigo

Your power symbol: Four leaf clover

Your power month: December

What Pattern Is Your Brain?

Your Brain's Pattern

You have a dreamy mind, full of fancy and fantasy.
You have the ability to stay forever entertained with your thoughts.
People may say you're hard to read, but that's because you're so internally focused.
But when you do share what you're thinking, people are impressed with your imagination.

What Color Heart Do You Have?

Your Heart Is Blue

Love is a doing word for you. You know it's love when you treat each other well.
You are a giving lover, but you don't give too much. You expect something in return.

Your flirting style: Friendly

Your lucky first date: Lunch at an outdoor cafe

Your dream lover: Is both generous and selfish

What you bring to relationships: Loyalty

Your Seduction Style: Sweet Talker

Saw it on Lorena's blog :) Isn't it revealing too much :)

Your Seduction Style: Sweet Talker

Your seduction technique can be summed up with "charm"
You know that if you have the chance to talk to someone...
Well, you won't be talking for long! ;-)

You're great at telling potential lovers what they want to hear.
Partially, because you're a great reflective listener and good at complementing.
The other part of your formula? Focusing your conversation completely on the other person.

Your "sweet talking" ways have taken you far in romance - and in life.
You can finess your way through any difficult situation, with a smile on your face.
Speeding tickets, job interviews... bring it on! You truly live a *charmed life*

!! Farishton ko bhi kab naseeb hoti hai Zindagi !!

Though "Jalta" tha Badan, but still prepared, my favourite khichdi (of Black urad dal with ginger) and boiled milk for myself. Though I love cooking but still, cooking for just oneself is literally an insult for "Maa Annapoorna" - the Goddess of Art of Cooking.

Anyhow this we shall discuss that sometime later, Here is what was accomplished in the night thereon.

Started the DVD on Lappy. It took me few minutes to decide this time what movie to watch. Options were too many, but the one the drive had "Life is beautiful", "Sense and Sensibility", "A walk in the clouds", "City of angels".

Anyhow I started "A walk in the clouds".

A Hindi movie, I forgot the name, was a remake of this movie. Well, anyhow, Beherhaal, this English original is fantastic. The emotions, the passions, the theories, the assumptions, the answers, the quickies and characters are beyond doubt wonderful. As they say the beauty lies in the eyes of beholder, the same goes for the joy to enjoy and appreciate the movie lies in the eyes of the audience.

Anyhow then started calling up the friends and within an hour realized that there is nobody whom I wanna talk to or nobody who wanna talk to me. People are far more busy in settling there life than I am. Everybody is out there just in hope to get benefits out of me {Cynicism prevails again :( }.

There I turned back, I turned back to myself, and I am not lonely this time.

I am happy to know that though I am only, but I am not lonely this time.

Movie is about to finish, with the burning of a vineyard in the end but there are lessons learnt, a new truth is here and it’s about to stay this time.

And then I started "City of Angels".The movie is running - But it’s forcing me to accept once again that, Life is Beautiful and thus and only thus it’s meant to be lived with your loved ones.

2 Posts back I said, "I wanna die young", I am taking it back, I shall be living longer, much longer, shall be much more alive, for myself, for those who care for me and for those for whom I CARE.

Yun he nahin bus jaate Sheher ke sheher,
Yun he nahin thum tofaano ke kadam,
Yun he nahin sikha deti tanhayiyan jeena,

Ye Maut ka farishta hai jo rakhta hai haath,
Mere Kandhe per aur kehta hai, "tu bahut khush-naseeb hai".
"Farishton ko bhi kab naseeb hoti hai Zindagi"

English Translation:
It doesn't take a while to enliven cities after cities,
It doesn't take a while to stop the advancing hurricanes,
It doesn't take a while for loneliness to teach living life,

It's the Angel of Death, who keeps his hand,
On my shoulder and says," You are heck of a lucky guy",
"Coz Even Angels do not have life !"

So folks aaj jee bher ke jiyo, isliye nahin ki Shayad kal ho na ho, per isliye ki ye Aaj hai.

Bookie Taggie! - As If I Care..!

Some how I missed this tag...today was going through technorati for my own reference, i found this ...well its quite simple so I shall untag myself asap...somehowthis tag is makes me feel gud

No. Of Books I own - More than 300..total cost is more than Rs. 50,000/- when I calculated last.

Last 5 books I bought- Calvin & Hobbes (completed my collection, bought all the missing ones), One night@call center, Tinkle, Meet you in Hell, Yugandher+Mrityunjay

5 Books that mean something - Calvin & Hobbes Series, 48 laws of Power, Mahasamar(collection in thick 8 Volumes about Mahabharat), Guts, How would you move Mount Fiji ?

Wow !! What a feel it was !!

Exhausted I was, there were tears in my eyes,
My mind was blank,
I was unable 2 differentiate b/w left & right,

My collegues wanted to talk, but mood was not right,
Friends called up to know more, but there was no insight,

My head was aching and my mouth was dry,
The whole world seemed revolving round me and I wanna cry,
Ppl were there and they asked me to try,

I left for my home early, coz there was no zeal,
the eyes were soaring and voice had no feal,

Nothing seemed right, there were few pills by my side,
I took one with a liquid dark as RUM,
Glasses after Glasses, I took three,
now it seems, that my mind is finally free....

Hey !!! What you ppl are thinking about.. !!!

I didn't had a Heart break or something,
Its just Cough and Cold that's hurting,
Dark liquid is Tea with Lemon,
and Pills were filled with Crocin not Venom,

So guys and gals, take very gud care of yrself, and ya one more thing,
Cough and Cold might be contagious, but I am sure that blogs are not carriers. :)

So keep reading and keep blogging !!!

ek do teen char, bina blogging life bekaar

What if there is no tommorow ?

Sunday night, fatigued coz of too much shopping, sat with roomie and started "Kal ho na Ho" once again...As the movie proceeds, sentiyap takes over...and the feel of doing whatever desired right now...coz What if there is no tommorow ?

So folks, think of the task which were long pending, do them today, enjoy the the life a bit more today itself...

Think....

When was the last time you had Poppins ?
When was the last time you had a lolly-pop ?
When was the last time you smiled courageously ?
When was the last time you had a Jhappi from a friend ?
When was the last time you sang a that song in full volume ?
When was the last time you had a standing ovation ?
When was the last time you saw a full moon & counted stars ?
When was the last time you lived the day ?
When was the last time Life lived you ?
When was the last time you smoked sitting on a staircase ?
When was the last time you bunked from office ?
When was the last time you took out your tounge to tease your friend ?
When was the last time you made faces at somebody ?
When was the last time you had a full scoop of your favourite ice-cream in Wafer cone ?
When was the last time you were soaked in Rain and ran on streets like a kid?
When was the last time you cooked your favourite Potato Sandwich, with a glass full of tea ?
When was the last time you winked ?
When was the last time.....

What are you waiting for ? For whom are you earning so much...to die one day RICH ? Ridiculous....Get out of here...Live today...for what if there is no tommorow....

There is so much to look for, live for...and you are spending your days and night just sitting and waiting for angel of Death to arrive and Rescue you..

Dear Since you now a slave to live ...then enjoy this pain of living...and live it with Grace...with your head on your shoulders

Golden Thoughts, Shopping Spree....

It was completely BoldnBeautiful's fault...Ya Ya... She is the culprit and She is supposed to be blamed...GRRRR !!! She was the one who supported my point of view of "diwali or no diwali...shop till you drop..." and here I am...over past 2 months the shopping bill has crossed a Lakh by a very fair margin...Ye folks more than a lakh of hard earned income has been spent...in just shopping...

The current CC bill is more than 50K..and though there is euphoria, a sense of gratification, and thoughts of Being able to hold Life like Hirdu has always holded..what I have bought for myself...A single pair of Nike shoes (Rs 1049/-) and a pair of T-Shirt (Rs 249/- each) ... then where is all the money being spent :)....

Well, I hope it's well spent...Gold this time somehow Mesmerised me :) so a chunk is spent in that...and then since I am going home, thus there is whole stroller full of Sarees and Gifts to Mom and Dad...and there is my naughty brother....and again he is at the Receiving end...Arre Yaar uska Bird-day that 14 Oct ko and me being the "BIG Brother" something has to go to him also...and then I was about to shift the house and for me the most important place is Kitchen so it's supposed to be fully furnished...and Utensils are so costly now a days....

2 Vessels of "Futura" costed more than 1500/- and then since I wanted a Induction plate for cooking this time...it came out to be near 5k...still after spending more then 17K for kitchen alone...there are things I forgot to buy last weekend :((

anyhow the list is pretty long...But there is bit of Respite... "BoldnBeautiful" has promised all sponsred evening at "Barista" with all expenses paid for Baskin Robbins ice-cream, whenever we meet.

Grrrr !! Anyhow though this Shopping has completly burned my wallet...there is a sense of gratification and ME BEING BACK..

So Guys and Gals, "Spend today, coz what if there is no tommorow"

The Quarter-Life Crisis

The Quarter-Life Crisis
by unknown

It is when you stop going along with the crowd and start realizing that there are a lot of things about yourself that you didn't know and may or may not like. You start feeling insecure and wonder where you will be in a year or two, but then get scared because you barely know where you are now.

You start realizing that people are selfish and that, maybe, those friends that you thought you were so close to aren't exactly the greatest people you have ever met and the people you have lost touch with are some of the most important ones. What you do not realize is that they are realizing that too and are not really cold or catty or mean or insincere, but that they are as confused as you.

You look at your job. It is not even close to what you thought you would be doing or maybe you are looking for one and realizing that you are going to have to start at the bottom and are scared.

You miss the comforts of college, of groups, of socializing with the same people on a constant basis. But then you realize that maybe they weren't so great after all.

You are beginning to understand yourself and what you want and do not want. Your opinions have gotten stronger. You see what others are doing and find yourself judging a bit more than usual because suddenly you realize that you have certain boundaries in your life and add things to your list of what is acceptable and what is not. You are insecure and then secure. You laugh and cry with the greatest force of your life. You feel alone and scared and confused. Suddenly change is the enemy and you try and cling on to the past with dear life but soon realize that the past is drifting further and further away and there is nothing to do but stay where you are or move forward.

You get your heart broken and wonder how someone you loved could do such damage to you or you lay in bed and wonder why you can't meet anyone decent enough to get to know better. You love someone but maybe love someone else too and cannot figure out why you are doing this because you are not a bad person.

One night stands and random hook ups start to look cheap and getting wasted and acting like an idiot starts to look pathetic. You go through the same emotions and questions over and over and talk with your friends about the same topics because you cannot seem to make a decision.

You worry about loans and money and the future and making a life for yourself and while wining the race would be great, right now you'd just like to be a contender!

What you may not realize is that everyone reading this relates to it. We are in our best of times and our worst of times, trying as hard as we can to figure this whole thing out.

Happy Birthday and Happy Karvachauth

Yesternight Syed Shastri D Khan called in middle of the night to inform me that today is his birthday...I smiled on my ignorance and stubborness for not maintianing a Birthday book...coz I always thought its too much of a trouble to look each day if somebdy birthday is today or not.

Normally its a tradition in our group to declare whenever one's birthday arrives...though there is a lot which doesnot follow this...but then they are the only one's who keep waiting...rest of us who declare are always happier...

So today is Shastri's Birthday...Shastri is not his family name or sth...its a given name and in technical Security Domain he is known as Syed Shastri D Khan :)

So Shastri Dear happy wala birthday hai jee ...

May ur fridge is always full of Beer,
May ur cupboard is always full of Scotch,
May ur pocket always has a pack of Cig,
May ur lighter always be flaming,
May ur wallet is always full of Cash (so that we can always have parties)
May ur Messenger Girl friend today says "I Love You"
May ur Next Cubicle gorgeous girl come to you with smiling face and ....Rest its yr respo and despo to make up the story,
May u are able to put more Fire in the Fire,
May We ALL SURVIVE TOGETHER.

Next in line is this "Happy Karvachauth" Phenomenon...Early morning "Sandy Paaji aka Gabber" Fame called up and wished me this...I was like why and how come...He said,"Arre kisi RFC mein thode he likha ki ye couples ke liye he hota hai, hum chahte hain yaar dost aur jiyein so here it is "Happy Karvachauth""

Bus phir kya tha...humne bhi saare yaar doston ko phuniya diya with exclaimations of "Happy Karvachauth" and for the common friends who know me and Sandy..it was easy to understand...ki Paaji ne bola hai Happy karvachauth hai to hai...kya fight hai...

So phir Folks "Happy Karvachauth" - May the sense for caring for others always survive. Give a new meaning to this day....For friendship this is the day :)

Men Are Just Happier People

Sandy aka Gabber sent me this and I was elated after a long time :)

What do you expect from such simple creatures? Your last name stays put. The garage is all yours. Wedding plans take care of themselves. Chocolate is just another snack.

You can be President. You can never be pregnant. You can wear a white T-shirt to a water park. You can wear NO shirt to a water park. Car mechanics tell you the truth.

The world is your urinal. You never have to drive to another gas station restroom because this one is just too icky. You don't have to stop and think of which way to turn a nut on a bolt. Same work, more pay. Wrinkles add character. Wedding dress $5000. Tux rental-$100. People never stare at your chest when you're talking to them.

The occasional well-rendered belch is practically expected. New shoes don't cut, blister, or mangle your feet. One mood all the time Phone conversations are over in 30 seconds flat. You know stuff about tanks. A five-day vacation requires only one suitcase. You can open all your own jars.

You get extra credit for the slightest act of thoughtfulness. If someone forgets to invite you, he or she can still be your friend.

Your underwear is $8.95 for a three-pack. Three pairs of shoes are more than enough. You almost never have strap problems in public. You are unable to see wrinkles in your clothes. Everything on your face stays its original color. The same hairstyle lasts for years, maybe decades. You only have to shave your face and neck.

You can play with toys all your life. Your belly usually hides your big hips. One wallet and one pair of shoes one color for all seasons. You can wear shorts no matter how your legs look. You can "do" your nails with a pocket knife. You have freedom of choice concerning growing a mustache.

You can do Christmas shopping for 25 relatives on December 24 in 25 minutes.

No wonder men are happier!

!! Let's have a post !!

Jaane kanha gaye woh din, kehte the teri raah mein nazron ko hum bichanyenge...

anyhow...this was the song I was singing today in the lab....in past few days so much is happening...

shall give you a brief insight...lets see how much everybody can make out....its sth like my previous post only....

Nashe mein kon nahin hai mujhe batayo jara, kise hai hosh mere saamne to layo jara....

tere aane ki khaber sun ker, humne fir khuda ke darwaze dastak di,
Woh aaker aaj phir muskuraya, aur tu sarhad se he wapas ho gayi....

I don't know why, now a days I donot get sleep till alte in the night, it takes a real effort on my part to get some sleep and that is why I feel lazy in office and then have a nap after lunch in Lab it self...some how our lab has become notorious for this...Ppl coming and completing there afternoon nap... :) I dont know how come everybody in office knows about it....Now a days ppl from different teams come to us for a permanent appointment for power nap in Lab :)

anyhow that is how the office is going and at home O lord !! all-together different drama....2 weeks back I was fighting to get a proper rentable house in chennai, now when I got one, there is another tension of furnishing it....As of now the problem is if I furnish it well, like the way I want to ...I shall be shelling out sth in the range of a lakh ...but then till when I shall be here in chennai....The problem is that if I am at India office, I am not profitable...or say not so much profitable for these guys...so I am here so that I get married ASAP and kicked out of the nation to earn profit....so the fight is huge...too much internal fight is going on too much of confusions and too many options...

Another fight is also there...I have started feeling that I need someone to talk to....Since I was living alone...the mobile bills have shot upto 7k per month...every week i shall have a prepaid card of 1500/- and finish it off...talking where...to home, to so called friends and then finally only 3-4 friends with whom I can chit chat anytime and about anything...no mask nothing....

Let's see how to settle this....Lately i was hearing this term...CTC- Cost to Company...then I coined the term...CTY - Cost to yourself....How much one spends in a month to keep oneself happy and delighted...In my case this CTY is huge....ppl say...it's greater than the CTC of huge of Software Engineers...But even then there is huge fight to be happy and chuckling :)

Some new freshers joined the team....O Lord!! the Aptitude level is getting degraded like anything....Ppl donot even know what's the voltage rating we get in house ...when one guy claimed that we get 240 V DC ...I lost control and scolded the whole batch...It's been after 2 year approx that I have lost my TEMPER....I felt bad for 2 days that I lost it....anyhow but after this it took almost a week so that these freshers gain confidence to come and talk freely...after some of these have to take my tasks someday....

Today I am planning to go for Dandiya... :) Lets see how it goes !!

How dare you kiss in Chennai?

How dare you kiss in Chennai?

October 03, 2005 - It was published at http://in.rediff.com/news/2005/oct/03sw.htm

Chennai, the city of auto majors Ford, Hyundai, BMW, Ashok Leyland. Chennai, the city of software majors TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Xansa.
Chennai, the city of several engineering colleges and thousands of engineering students.
Chennai, the city where the country's first six-lane information technology expressway is under construction.
Chennai, the city of the Big Brother.

Scene One

A park in Chennai. A young teenage boy and a girl are sitting on a bench munching peanuts. The distance between them slowly reduces, and the boy puts his hand on the girl's shoulder and draws her close to him. They are still talking and munching peanuts. No, they are not about to kiss, but their physical proximity is such that they can. That is, if Big Brother does not turn up. And he does.
The terrified kids jump up.
"What are you two doing here?" asks Big Brother.
"Nothing…" the boy stammers.
"Nothing? What nothing? You are doing something," Big Brother thunders.
"We were talking and eating peanuts," the boy's voice is barely audible.
"What? Can't you talk loudly?" Big Bother's voice is so loud that the two young things clasp hands in fright.
"Take your hands off her." Big Brother whacks the boy with his baton so hard that his eyes fill with tears. The girl has already started crying.
"No tears. No crying. Don't you know boys and girls are not supposed to sit so close to each other and hold hands in a public place?"
The boy wants to ask 'What's wrong in us sitting close and holding hands?'
"Don't say she's your girl friend?"
The boy nods.
"Girlfriend and boyfriend? What is this world coming to? Come on, get into the jeep. I am taking you two into custody."
Moral of the story: If you are in Chennai, never sit on a park bench with your girlfriend or boyfriend. And, most importantly, never hold hands. It is not part of the great Chennai Culture.

Scene 2

A party in the discotheque of a luxury hotel. Loud chatter, louder music. Couples dancing merrily on the floor. The music gets louder and the dancers more passionate. Bodies intertwine. Soon, some lips lock.
Enter Big Brother on the dance floor.
"Stop!" his voice booms, but the music is too loud. He keeps shouting, but no one can hear him. He rushes towards the DJ console and terrorises the DJ into stopping the music.
The romantic world of the couples shatters.
Big Brother jumps onto a chair and shouts, "What's this? What's going on here? Don't you have any respect for this great city, and its great culture?"
"What's he saying?" A woman whispers as she comes out of the trance.
"You people better listen to me. This is a great city..."
"How many times will he say that?" Another woman laughs.
"The culture of the city is so great that here, no woman and man should hug each other in public, nobody should dance like mad people. You should learn to dance Bharata Natyam. That's our culture, and not this. Here, no man and woman kiss each other in a public place."
"This is not a public place. This is a hotel, and this is a dance floor," an angry young man shouts back.
"I will arrest you for insulting our great culture. No man and woman should kiss in a hotel even if they are husband and wife. You will be arrested if you do that. Today, I, the Big Brother, forgive you," he jumps off the chair and walks away.
Moral of the story: In Chennai, you should not go to a dance party unless it is Bharata Natyam. You should not kiss your spouse even if you are dancing the Bharata Natyam. You should respect the great culture and traditions of the city.

Scene 3

An engineering college campus. Three students are summoned to the principal's room to appear before a panel of five teachers whose duty is to question 'immoral' students and punish them. The students' fault; they are wearing short, sleeveless tops and tight jeans, and they were caught talking to boys.
"What kind of dress are you wearing? Were you seducing the boys when we caught you? Don't come crying to us if you get raped. If you dress like this, anything can happen. Remember, this kind of indecent dress is not allowed in this city and in this college, understand? Now, go home and get Rs 500 as fine for wearing sleeveless top and tight jeans. If you want good jobs in good companies, you should learn to dress properly, and also learn not to flirt with boys," The teachers shout at the girls.
Once the girls are done with, five boys are called in. They also undergo a dressing down for 'wearing dark coloured shirts,' 'talking to girls' and 'flirting with them'.
"You people will never see even the gates of an IT company," the jury declares.
Moral of the story: If you are an engineering student in Chennai, you should dress 'decently' and never talk to the opposite sex. That is, if you want a good job in a good company.

Scene 4

Angry women demonstrating -- with brooms and flip flops -- in front of a movie actress' house. The women shout unprintable abuses, spit on the gate, burn her effigy.
In an interview, the actress had advised people of the city to have safe sex. She had pooh poohed the idea of pre-marital virginity as an essential virtue.
"You dirty woman, you insulted our great culture. How dare you live here? We will banish you to the Andamans," roars the mob.
Moral of the story: If you are a woman living in Chennai, a city that has Big Brothers who flaunt their several wives/mistresses as proof of their wealth and social status, never talk about sex, sexually transmitted diseases, HIV, AIDS, condoms or virginity.

Scene 5

The bedroom of a newlywed couple. It is an unusually cool night, and passion is running high. As they are about to kiss, the voice of Big Brother booms.
"Stop!"
They stop in mid-kiss. "But why? We are husband and wife. We are not in a park. We are not on the dance floor of a hotel. We are in our bedroom. Can't we have some privacy in here too?"
"No, Big Brother is watching you. You should abstain from sex today."
"But why?" The couple dare to question the Big Brother.
"Today is Thursday, the day of abstinence." Big Brother announces.
"Can we have at least one kiss?" they plead.
"No kiss today. You can kiss on Mondays and Wednesdays and can have sex on Fridays and Sundays. This is Big Brother's order. Remember, Big Brother is watching."
****
No, this is not an adaptation of George Orwell's 1984. This is 2005, and the city is Chennai.
Yes, Chennai, the city that has blah blah blah.
